Questions:
2. what do you think about brads concern that by waiting with the announcement they could miss their chance to save them?
- I feel like yes its good to aware that these animals needs help and it should be saved but he is so concerned that he doesn't pay attention to others things such as if the animal hes trying to save is actually that animal.
3. do you think they would be satisfied with the same amount of evidence in this case as brad? why/why not?
i don't think i would be satisfied yes he has some nice detail but it wouldn't be enough i believe i need an actual bird to know its alive and if i would fund it.
4. What is the right amount of evidence? how can you determine the answer to that question?
The right amount of evidence cant really be determined unless their the woodpecker presence or actual close up pictures and videos. It really hard to determine the amount of evidence but t has to be enough to convince everyone they still exist
5.
6./7. To know the wood pecker is not extinct i would need to see actual evidence of the bird maybe DNA or a feather that i would have to analyze without seeing it. To finalize my thought on its existence i would have to see the actual bird before my eyes.
8. If i were in brads position I wouldn't tell the reporter herself i would i say for her to wait for what i have to say just like the others until i have the enough evidence to tell everyone such a big event.
9. To me it does matter who present the evidence to me i think the person who as been out in the field trying to find the actual bird would have to present to me. I don't think i would believe an expert that hasn't been out exploring for himself.
10. in the real case a man named John W. Fitzpatrick did the article about the woodpecker and J.J Audubon.Tim Gallacher presented some evidence and with some drawings of the bird he saw and how it looked.
